For the last 10 years Lotte has been working with EKC (EksportKontrolCentret) which is a Danish trade and export centre working primarily with journey logs.
Lotte: "I try to keep focus that it is not about what happened that day, it is about what is going to happen tomorrow. Can I change my behavior to improve animal welfare for the pigs that are going into trouble tomorrow? It is too late to do anything for the pigs that had trouble today, but tomorrow or in the future that is where I want to make a difference." You can listen to Lotte in episode 6.
This initiative emerged from contacts with inspectors in the field who described how they would spend many hours travelling to farms for inspections and also expressed a keen interest in both topics of welfare as well as the experiences of other inspectors.
In this series, you will hear inspectors telling their personal stories during inspections of pig welfare, and experts giving insight and knowledge on specific pig welfare topics. Expect inspiration ánd information! The episodes are being hosted by Spotify for Podcasters.
