The 4EURCAWs Annual Meeting was held with great success on 13–14 May 2025 in Heraklion, Crete!
More than 40 professionals from all four EU Reference Centres for Animal Welfare — EURCAW Aqua, EURCAW Ruminants & Equines, EURCAW Poultry-SFA, and EURCAW-Pigs — gathered to exchange knowledge, strengthen collaboration, and discuss future directions.
The two-day event was filled with fruitful discussions, insightful presentations, and a strong sense of shared purpose. It marked an important step forward in our joint mission to improve animal welfare across Europe. This year's venue, where land meets sea, reflected the diverse environments and species the Centres are working to protect.
