Pig welfare during transport – communication

EURCAW-Pigs has produced two videos on the communication between welfare inspectors and pig transporters during animal welfare inspections. The focus of the videos is on transporting pigs to the slaughterhouse, especially on the inspection at un-loading.

Senior researcher Tine Rousing from Aarhus University has interviewed a Danish veterinarian, who works with animal welfare inspection. The two avatar based videos are based on this interview. The videos are intended as a basis for a discussion of these and related topics among the individual team of animal welfare inspectors. In other words, when you have watched these videos, you are challenged to share your opinions and experiences with each other.
